What this means for you
- We will no longer be making updates to Studio. There will be no more fixes or feature updates.
- You can still log in, sync your presentations to the cloud, present, record, and publish videos made in Studio to mmhmm until the end of 2024.
- Presentations you've made in Studio can be imported into mmhmm.

Why we're ending support
Studio was our first app, with separate versions for Mac and Windows. In 2022, we launched the new mmhmm which offers the same functionality on Mac, Windows, and web browsers. Since then, we've continued to improve mmhmm to make sure it has powerful tools to allow you to communicate effectively on live and recorded video. The new mmhmm is better than ever, with major enhancements that make it more powerful than Studio.
What's different?
- Perfect your recording with Chapters - Takes no longer exist in mmhmm. Instead, record segments of video as Chapters. Trim, edit, delete, and fix mistakes easily.
- Multiple presenters - Present on your own or with a few colleagues on a single screen.
- Sharper delivery with AI - Try Questions to get started fast with videos that highlight your knowledge in your own voice.
- More visual flexibility - Add multiple visuals to a single slide. Choose from hundreds of virtual backgrounds. Custom rooms in Studio are now called backgrounds in mmhmm.
- Individual slide settings - Instead of Scenes, mmhmm lets you set the appearance for each slide. Arrange slides any way you want and apply those settings to any other slide in your presentation.
- Intuitive sidebar functionality - The sidebar in mmhmm changes depending on the content you have selected. This makes it easier to find the settings you want to change.
- Use speaker notes - Stay connected with your audience without having to juggle multiple windows by using the mini-remote.
- Improved performance - mmhmm is optimized for speed and processing time, making it faster to create presentations and videos.
- Improved interface - mmhmm has a brand new layout.
