Change your background in Studio

There are two types of backgrounds in Studio:

  • Still backgrounds
  • Dynamic backgrounds: moving backgrounds with settings you control. Dynamic backgrounds have a play button ▶ on the thumbnail.
Note: This page is about Studio. For information about mmhmm, read Change your mmhmm background .

To rearrange the order your rooms appear in, click and drag a room to its desired position. The first ten rooms are assigned keyboard shortcuts (⌘0-9) to make it easy to switch between rooms quickly.

Tip: For best results, use an image with a width-to-height pixel ratio of 16:9. We recommend 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is a common size that’s big enough to look great in Studio.

Use your real room as a background

  1. In the upper right, click the Presenter tab.
  2. Click the full frame icon.

Adjust dynamic background settings

Some dynamic backgrounds have adjustable background settings.

To give your room a sense of depth, use the Horizontal tilt or Vertical tilt sliders to tilt your slide content.
