Use Studio with video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, and more to take your presentations to the next level.
Connect Studio to other video conferencing tools
- Open Studio on your device.
- Open Zoom and start or join a meeting.
- In the bottom toolbar, check that your video is turned on (it should show Stop Video). If your video is off, click Start Video.
- Next to Stop Video, click the up arrow ^ and select mmhmm Studio Camera.
- Open Studio on your device.
- Open Google Meet and start or join a call.
- In the call setup screen, click the video setting and select mmhmm Studio Camera.
- When you're done, click Join now.
- Open Studio on your device.
- Open Microsoft Teams and start or join a meeting.
- In the call setup screen, check that your video is turned on (the video switch should be toggled on). If your video is off, click to toggle the switch on.
- Click the Settings icon
- In the Device settings sidebar, click the Camera dropdown menu and select mmhmm Studio Camera.
- When you're done, click Join now.
You can use Studio with Apple's built-in apps. To do so, start by opening any of Apple's built-in apps such as Safari, Photo Booth, or FaceTime. Choose mmhmm Studio Camera from the list of available cameras under Video in the Apple menu bar:
You must have Studio open and running in the background in order for it to work properly. If you don't have Studio running in the background, you will see this on your screen:
If you're using Studio and your video conferencing tool has a share screen function, you can share Studio as a Broadcast window. If the tool accepts apps that stream video, there's a good chance Studio will be compatible.

If you use a video conferencing platform not listed in the Mac and Windows tabs, you can share the Studio window if the tool has a share screen function. If your video conferencing tool accepts apps that stream video, there's a good chance Studio will be compatible.
